Keeping the Texas Panhandle Clean Since 2008

Concrete & Drive-Thru Cleaning

We have dozens of restaurants we clean on a regular basis. Most are done monthly, but some clean bi-monthly and even weekly.
The picture above is the Chick-Fil-A on Coulter. We clean it every week. As you can see, there’s a lot of build-up in the drive-thru because this is a very busy and successful restaurant. It’s important to George, the owner, to keep his restaurant looking the best it can.
The piece of equipment being used above is called a surface cleaner. It has a bar spinning underneath with four pressure wash tips. This is the only way to clean large surfaces evenly. The equipment is costly and you need powerful rigs to be able to use surface cleaners. Other power wash companies try to clean large surfaces using only hand-held wands. The results are predictably terrible.

Building Cleaning

The surface being cleaned dictates the chemicals used, the pressure used and the equipment used. We couldn’t use the same chemical on a building as we use on concrete….the paint would melt off and we’d kill the landscaping. From Dawn dish soap to sodium hydroxide, we understand what chemicals are needed for what job.
We perform a lot of building washings and many of those have been high in the air. No job is too big

Gum Removal

We remove a lot of dirt, oil, grease, etc. However, the number one effluent we remove from concrete is chewing gum. Chewing gum tends to build slowly but can eventually get out-of-hand (take a look at any Wendy’s drive-thru for example).
Many power wash companies don’t even attempt to remove it. Why? It’s time consuming and it takes really powerful equipment to do so. We always remove the chewing gum. Sometimes we might have to charge extra for a first-time cleaning if the chewing gum is excessive. We spent 21 hours at a local restaurant parking lot just removing the chewing gum….it had tens of thousands of pieces.
Chewing gum contains a chemical call sorbitol. Sorbitol will begin to seep into the concrete after about three months of the gum being there, and leaves a stain after the gum is removed. This is why it’s important to remove chewing gum in a timely manner.

Dumpster Pad Cleaning

Dumpster pads and back docks tend to be the area that accumulates the most grime at restaurants. Our standard restaurant cleaning includes the sidewalks, dumpster pad, back dock, patio and drive-thru if applicable.

Bird Dropping Removal

Pigeons and Doves are prevalent in the Amarillo area. They tend to build nests in store signs, on rafters and in the building facia. Worst, they make a mess on the entryway below. Dust from bird droppings carries disease which can be transmitted to humans. Give us a call….we’ll get it cleaned up. We can also apply repellent to ensure they don’t rebuild their nests.

Asphalt Removal

Small black marks on your concrete are often from asphalt that cars track in on their tires. When a car drives through freshly laid asphalt, small particles of it tends to adhere to tires. Those same cars can drive onto your property and transfer the asphalt to your concrete. Asphalt adheres well to concrete and if difficult to remove—even with a powerful pressure washer. We use a chemical that is soybean based that works extremely well.

Industrial Equipment Cleaning

Transporting dirty equipment draws the ire of the State Highway Patrol in just about every state. It’s not unusual for us to get a call to clean equipment because the trooper won’t allow it to continue its route. We get the job done but the trucker is given a fine. Give us a call before you transport.

Pigeon Proofing

Pigeons and even Doves can be a huge problem. We use a repellent that is extremely sticky. It won’t cause any physical hard to the birds, but it will make them rethink living there. We guarantee our treatment for six months, but it usually lasts for a year before needing to be reapplied.
